It is easier to take out the battery and take it to them. This will not test the charging system, but will show the battery problem.

      Yes ,you can take the battery and they can test it . I’ve done it . And then if you actually need a new one , you get money back for the old one , I think like $ 40.00 . Good luck

      You can pull it out and have it tested at an Autozone or similar store. Buy a quality brand name battery. It is one of a few components on your car that you don’t want to skimp $ on.
